Megyn Kelly calls actress Charlize Theron vulgar for sleeping with a 26-year-old

Talk show host Megyn Kelly has sharply criticized actress Charlize Theron for her recent comments about a one-night stand with a 26-year-old man.

The 49-year-old Oscar winner made the revelation during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, calling the experience “amazing” and encouraging women to be unapologetic about seeking pleasure.

Kelly, reacting on The Megyn Kelly Show, took issue with both the tone and content of Theron’s remarks. Calling the podcast a “sex podcaster,” she said Theron’s openness was “vulgar” and “off-putting.” “She’s 49 years old. She’s trying to sound like she’s 26,” Kelly said. “Act like it… have some class.”

Kelly also questioned Theron’s previous comments about her independence and single motherhood, suggesting that the actress may not be interested in men at all. “Here she doubles down on how little she needs a man in her life. Hello, back to my theory,” Kelly remarked. 

However, Theron previously addressed speculation about her sexuality, saying in a 2017 interview with Andy Cohen that while she had same-sex experiences in her youth, she prefers men.

In the Call Her Daddy episode, Theron had described her recent fling with the younger man as a new and enjoyable experience, adding, “Women should be the ones that are like, ‘F*** you, I’m going to have an orgasm.’”

Reactions to the feud have been divided. Many fans defended Theron’s right to express herself, citing the consensual nature of the encounter and pushing back against what they saw as outdated judgment. Others sided with Kelly, lamenting what they see as a lack of decorum among today’s celebrities.
